Welcome to the website for the North Nottinghamshire Minority
Consultative Forum (NNMC).

I am Superintendent Nick Finlay of Nottinghamshire Police, responsible
for policing in the districts of Bassetlaw, Newark and Sherwood.
We established the NNMC forum in 2004 to improve consultation with
members of minority groups.
The forum, held every three months, provides an opportunity for
individuals to discuss diversity issues with the police.
Our aim is to increase the trust and confidence of minority groups in
the police through regular consultation.
The forum is open to any individual who wishes to contribute to the
consultation process.
You can share your views by using the form below. Your feedback will be
read, discussed and considered at our next meeting.
If you wish your comments to be anonymous, please make that clear and
that is the way they will be presented to the forum.
Please do not use this email to report crimes or to make complaints
about a particular incident or investigation. These should be done in
the usual ways - by telephone to 01909 500999, by letter, to a police
officer or by visiting a police station.
If you wish to contact the local officer for your area, the details can
be found on the Nottinghamshire Police website at
http://www.nottinghamshire.police.uk/local/bassetlaw_newark_sherwood
If you would like a response to the issues you raise, please make it
clear in your email. A reply may not be immediate, but please be assured
that your feedback will be read and considered.
Thank you for taking the time to contribute to the consultation process.
Nick Finlay
Superintendent
on behalf of the Minority Consultative Forum.
Let us know your views - they will be read.
